Note: the rankings shown here are preliminary and provisional until the official chart methodology is finalized.
Zuse’t, stylized in lowercase as zuse’t on YouTube, is the artist behind Bahir dar, the song that took the No. 1 spot on Kworb’s YouTube Ethiopia daily chart in late September 2026 and was still there on the latest board. This profile sticks to what the public record shows. We found no published interviews or press biography for Zuse’t, so there is no biography here beyond what the artist’s official channel and distributor metadata say.
The official channel. The artist channel is @zuset77 (channel ID UCRYoinwOhIkBRPaEvhMxG_Q). Its About panel says the channel joined YouTube on 18 April 2018 and lists Canada as the channel country. On 28 September 2026 it showed 235 subscribers and 91,781 lifetime views. We read the country field as a channel setting only; it does not tell us where the artist was born or lives. The channel has one long-form upload, Bahir dar, published 19 September 2026.
A 2026 run of DistroKid singles. YouTube’s releases shelf for Zuse’t shows a steady run of self-distributed singles, all delivered by DistroKid under the line ℗ 12192183 Records DK. The Topic (art-track) releases are:
- Anchi Lij, released 2026-03-29
- Digs New, released 2026-04-06
- Gum Gum, released 2026-04-06; the most-viewed Zuse’t art track before September, at 73,102 views on 28 September
- Digs New Official, released 2026-04-15
- America, released 2026-08-23
- Birabiro (feat. Yared nego & Millen), released 2026-08-24; the only credited collaboration on the shelf
- Bahir dar, released 2026-09-19
The shelf also lists Emmanera, a 2021 track (released 2021-08-04) distributed by Amuseio AB and credited to “Zuse” alongside teeboy, ukche, supe and Tongies. YouTube groups it with this artist, but ethio.music has not confirmed that “Zuse” and Zuse’t are the same act, so it is not counted in the 2026 run above.
The chart run. Bahir dar came out on two official outlets on the same day, 19 September 2026: the artist-channel video (watch) and the YouTube Music Topic art track (watch), whose description reads “Provided to YouTube by DistroKid … Released on: 2026-09-19.” On Kworb’s YouTube Ethiopia daily chart dated 2026/09/23 it rose two places to No. 1 with 268,496 streams (+129,332), which puts it at No. 3 the day before. By the 2026/09/26 board it was still No. 1 (244,316, +17,342, unchanged). Hailu Amerga’s Keteraraw Mado (209,972) and Teddy Afro’s Shih Bibal (Back to 90s) (193,309) were right behind. On Kworb’s YouTube Ethiopia weekly chart for the week ending 2026/09/24, Bahir dar came in new at No. 5 with 542,882 streams, behind Dagne Walle’s Addis Ababa at No. 1 (812,741) and ahead of Teddy Afro’s Ze Tsedal at No. 6 (438,105).
Why the official uploads show so few views. Those chart numbers are much bigger than the view counts on the two official uploads, which showed 27 views (artist channel) and 650 views (Topic) on 28 September. That fits how YouTube counts songs. Its Top Songs charts, which Kworb’s country boards follow, add up plays of the official recording across the official video, lyric videos and user-made videos that use the official song (YouTube Help). In other words, nearly all of Bahir dar‘s listening is happening outside the artist’s own uploads. ethio.music’s classification stays at Likely official (artist channel plus DistroKid Topic) until a packaged Official Video appears.
Not the only “Bahir Dar.” Bahir Dar, the lakeside capital of Amhara Region on Lake Tana, has inspired several Ethiopian songs, so it helps to be exact. Zuse’t’s Bahir dar is a different song from Yo Mariyos’s Bahir Dar (Official Video on Bridge Sounds, logged by Zehabesha on 19 September 2026, our News 155). The same city also has older songs by Yehunie Belay (Bahir Dar) and Mesfin Bekele (Bahir Dar Yaleshuw). The Kworb row, the DistroKid metadata and the @zuset77 upload all point to Zuse’t.
For the Official Video desk, Zuse’t is the late-September story outside the usual Teddy Afro and Hailu Amerga pair: a self-distributed artist with a six-month singles run whose newest track took the daily board and held it. Playback on ethio.music uses only the artist channel and the DistroKid Topic track, never unofficial reuploads.
